Well…here we are again! We have another Edinburgh derby to look forward to this weekend; and another opportunity to showcase not just great football but also our great city.
We are all looking forward to a thoroughly enjoyable day...despite the light rain that is forecast…and I would simply ask all supporters once again to heed the instructions of the security staff both inside and outside the stadium. Also, this is just a gentle reminder to remember the general rules of no pyrotechnics, no abusive language, no standing in the aisles/stairways and no pitch incursions.
Our visit to Ibrox, last week, was a great success (apart from the score, of course!) and the supporters did us all proud. On behalf of the club…thank you! There were a couple of isolated incidents which are being dealt with by the club and there was one Hearts supporter arrested. With over 2000 travelling support, this was a great example of two sets of supporters cooperating with the officials to ensure a safe and enjoyable matchday experience. Let’s keep it up.
Enjoy the game and let’s make the club and Edinburgh proud.
