Major relocation sale as move to new premises announced

As part of the rebuilding of the business at Hearts, we have taken a number of key business lines in house.  It is important to the club and to our supporters that as far as possible, every pound spent at Tynecastle is a maroon pound, which stays at Tynecastle and is reinvested in major programmes such as stadium redevelopment and player development.

We brought catering back in house and now provide a match day hospitality experience, which, based on Trip Advisor ratings, is one of the best in the UK.  Earlier this year, we terminated the retail franchise, bringing the retail arm back under our control and have been working behind the scenes to revamp what was an underperforming part of our business. Having consulted with fans to understand what they would like to see in the shop, we have used this feedback to provide what we hope you will agree will be a much better offering.

We have already started to introduce new product lines, bringing in new suppliers, increasing leisure wear lines for everyone and bringing back some much-requested fans’ favourites.  Our objective is to improve the quality of merchandise on offer and generally increase the value for money of everything that the club sells.

And we are on the move! As the Tynecastle redevelopment programme gathers apace, we will be demolishing the current shop building and moving to new premises underneath the Wheatfield Stand. We need to call on our supporters’ help to clear the shelves of current stock.  We don’t want to take all the old stock with us and are therefore, holding a big sale over six days starting on Saturday 5th November.   We will be offering a number of exciting bargains in our relocation sale to get your early Christmas shopping off to a flying start.

To give fans a further incentive to visit the shop, we will also be providing a special offer on training wear.  We launch our #TrainLikeAPro campaign this week which will offer a massive 20% off all items of training wear including the latest winter jackets.

We plan to open the new retail outlet under the Wheatfield Stand on Saturday 19th November.  Look out for exciting news on opening offers and make sure you are among the first to visit.

Whilst we recognise that there will be some inconvenience to fans between 11th and 19th November, we will continue to trade via Hearts Direct and on our new eBay site which will launch later this week. We are delighted to announce that we will also be introducing a new online shop in the New Year giving a greatly improved shopping experience to everyone. Please note the ticket office will continue to trade during this time.
