Hearts supporters have been quick off the mark to book their William Hill Scottish Cup Final seats after snapping up well over half of the club’s allocation in less than eight hours.
The Jambos meet Celtic in the season’s showpiece occasion at Hampden Park on Saturday, May 25th and tickets for the match went on sale to supporters at 9am this morning.
Keen to back Craig Levein’s side, more than 13,500 briefs have been sold in an eight-hour period, meaning the wheels are well and truly in motion for a sea of maroon to greet the team as they emerge out onto the pitch of the national stadium.
Massive queues greeted the Ticket Office at opening time and with online sales continuing throughout the evening, the number of tickets sold by the end of day one is only expected to increase.
Fans with 20 or more loyalty points can still buy tickets, one per account subject to availability, over the weekend.
The Ticket Office will be open from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
