Pre Match Info
Due to significant roadworks and weather warnings in place around Scotland, supporters are advised to take caution when travelling through to Hamilton and expect delays of 15-20 minutes.
There remain significant roadworks on all approaches to the Bothwell Road/Caird Street junction restricting traffic to one lane.
This is gas mains replacement and repairs to the carriageway and involves three-way traffic light control. On weekdays delays of 10-20 mins are expected in normal traffic. It will be longer on Saturday, especially after the game. It is tailing back from Caird Street back towards lights at Mecca Bingo. On Bothwell Road it is tailing back to racecourse and beyond at times.
Therefore, Hearts supporters should allow an extra 15-20 minutes for this on Saturday and fans arriving after 2.30pm should allow more time. These roadworks will cause severe disruption given that they are on the main route to/from the stadium.
Meanwhile, the Met Office have issued a Yellow weather warning for snow across much of Scotland throughout Saturday. This means that the chance of snow is very likely and although it is not expected to heavily impact transport and every day activity, it is important to add a few minutes onto your journey time and remember to wrap up warm if you are travelling to the match.
Hearts supporters will be accommodated in the North Stand and should enter via turnstiles 7-12. Please note that there will be a cash gate in operation at turnstile 7, 8 and 9 and supporters who have purchased tickets in advance should enter via turnstiles 10, 11 and 12 as directed by stewards. Tickets bought in advance and those sold at turnstiles are for a designated seat and you are required to sit in the seat identified on your ticket.
Parking for supporters coaches will be in Caird Street and parking for cars is on streets outwith the restricted area.
Please arrive early and be prepared to queue whilst searching is carried out. Laws in relation to alcohol will be strictly enforced and you are reminded that it is an offence to enter or attempt to enter the stadium whilst drunk and entry will be refused. If you arrive close to kick-off it is likely, due to queuing and searching, that you will miss the start of the match so please make every effort to arrive in plenty of time.
Searches are carried out to keep everyone safe and your cooperation is appreciated. You are reminded that any person having a flag(s) or banner(s) and the like which may contain offensive or otherwise unacceptable material and/or flares, fireworks, devices capable of emitting smoke or the like and/or any other object which may cause or be part of any incident of unacceptable conduct on his/her person or any such person refusing to be searched shall not be admitted to the ground and any ticket held by him/her shall be liable to be confiscated without compensation and he/she shall be liable to such other proportionate sanction as the Club may determine.
Persons so engaged are likely to be arrested and may be the subject of a football banning order.
Please note that the stadium is completely “No Smoking” and this includes vaping. No facility is available to exit the stadium to smoke and anyone who leaves to do so will not be re-admitted. Stewards will be actively patrolling concourse and toilet areas and anyone found to be breaching this regulation will be ejected.
