Digital Skills

Hearts' Coding Club

The perfect way to introduce young people to technology!

The CoderDojo Coding Club builds excitement and interest around digital technology among young people and supports them in developing valuable skills for the future.

The Club runs once a week for six weeks, with all equipment provided, easy-to-follow instructions and no previous experience is necessary! The Club is completely FREE for girls and boys aged 7-16 years.

Coding and digital skills are vital skills in today’s world, and computers are an ever more important part of life and work. Understanding how computers work and the best ways to interact with them will open up lots of opportunities for young people!

Young people attending the club will explore digital technology in a fun, informal, creative and social environment while developing problem solving, communication and presentation skills. Using code, attendees will design games, build wearable technology, make music and even build goal-line technology! Attendees will take their creative ideas, turn them into reality and share them with friends.

Our next Club will run from Thursday, 9th May – Thursday, 13th June and registration is now open!

We are also recruiting a diverse pool of volunteers to become mentors at the Coding Club. If you are interested in technology and inspiring the next generation of digital creators, we will be pleased to hear from you.

Please email for more information about the programme, volunteering opportunities or general enquiries.
