FOOTBALL FANS IN TRAINING

In partnership with the SPFL Trust, we have delivered the popular Football Fans in Training (FFIT) programme now for over six years. FFIT aims to help supporters become more active, shed a few pounds and improve their general health - and the best part is it's completely FREE.

The next FFIT course is aimed at men & woman aged 35-65, who have a BMI of 28+ and a waist (belly) of 40 inches. The course is a must for those who want to get fit, lose weight and become healthier.

This course will run for 13 weeks from Thursday 23rd February, at Tynecastle with a limited number of places available.

Men's FITT: 17:45 - 19:15

Woman's FITT: 19:30 - 21:15

Participants will receive their very own training top and will work closely with fitness expert Alan Gray. During this time they will take part in part in physical exercise and will also learn about weight management, diet and healthy eating and alcohol awareness amongst other things.

Hearts Head of Community, Alan White: "Previous course participants have made a real difference to their lifestyles and their waistlines by signing up to the programme which is growing in popularity. Not only that they have continued to be active by organising their own activities once the courses have come to an end."

"What better motivation is there to lose weight and get fitter than spending 13 weeks at Tynecastle - it's also a great opportunity for our staff to meet real football supporters and get them further involved with the club outside matchdays."

These sessions are designed to be a good laugh as well as being very informative.

Remember these sessions are FREE thanks to SPFL funding
