Representing their country with pride...
This is the incredible list of 107 names that tells the story of an incredible football club.
The list started with Thomas J Jenkinson, who represented Scotland on 19th February 1887 in a 4-1 win over Ireland at Hampden Park and included legends Bobby Walker who held the record number of caps for a Heart of Midlothian player for decades and former captain Steven Pressley who recently took that mantle, having appeared 32 times for Scotland. Of the current squad, Andy Webster holds the most Scotland caps with 22 appearances in dark blue.
The first 'foreigner' was Willie Reid from Northern Ireland. He's one of 27 players from other nations than Scotland to have played for their country while plying their club trade at Heart of Midlothian. Other countries include Australia, Canada, Lithuania, Finland, Ireland, Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This list also includes one player, Takis Fyssas, who won the European Championships in 2004, shortly before he joined Hearts.
This is the full list in appearance order for Scotland and then appearance order for other countries:
