Support Employment Programme
Once again Heart of Midlothian Football Club is working in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, Careers Scotland and Jewel and Esk College to run the innovative Support Employment Programme.
This ten week, part time programme is for unemployed men and women, runs over two days per week and includes:
? Personal development coaching
? Career planning
? Support with looking for work
? CV preparation
? Football coaching (afternoons)
The football coaching is designed to develop participants' teamwork and communication skills. In addition, participants will be given the opportunity to complete SFA certificated football coaching awards.
Heart of Midlothian Football Club will be hosting an open day on Tuesday 5th August in the Gorgie Suite between 1pm and 5pm.
The programme will be held at Tynecastle Stadium and the Hearts Football Academy.
All unemployed people aged 16 - 65 resident in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian are welcome to attend the open day to find out more about how this programme could help. New Deal participants should check eligibility with their Jobcentre Plus Adviser.
Selection interviews will be held at the open day on the 5th August for the next programme which starts on Monday 11th August. You will need to be available every Monday and Tuesday until 14th October.
