The Hearts Legends team played host to corporate giants AEGON in a special challenge match at Tynecastle last weekend.

The Hearts team, which consisted of fans' favourites from a number of eras including John Robertson, Gary Mackay, Alan McLaren, Henry Smith, Brian Hamilton, Jose Quitongo and Darren Jackson, ran out 4-1 winners with a brace from Scott Crabbe.

Alan White the Trust's community development manager commented, "We would like to thank Derek Brown and his team from AEGON for coming along to Tynecastle and giving us a great night of football.

"As an organisation AEGON have been a fantastic supporter of the Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust's breakfast club programme and it was fitting that we were able to invite them to Tynecastle for this special evening.

"Despite the massive average age gap between both sides, it was a competitive game with the old heads probably giving us the overall advantage in the closing stages."
