A tall and dominating keeper who earned promotion to the senior squad in 2009-10. The young Highlander came through the successful Ross County youth development system where he stepped-up to the Dingwall club's U19 team in July 2006.
Mark's form quickly attracted a number of major clubs and he eventually signed for Hearts in April 2007 for a fee of £40,000.
Mark has made solid progress and last term he was selected for the Scotland U19 squad. In addition, in May 2009, Mark signed a new three-year contract.
From November to December 2009, Mark gained some first-team action, playing four games while on loan to East Fife and late last season started to feature on the bench.
Mark spent the 2009/10 season on loan to Airdrie, and is currently on loan to East Fife. string of impressive performances have won him international recognition at U21 level.
The big' Highlander recently singed a new two year deal with the club.
