A tall and dominating keeper who earned promotion to the senior squad in 2009-10. The young Highlander came through the successful Ross County youth development system where he stepped-up to the Dingwall club's U19 team in July 2006.
Mark's form quickly attracted a number of major clubs and he eventually signed for Hearts in April 2007 for a fee of £40,000.
Mark has made solid progress and last term he was selected for the Scotland U19 squad. In addition, in May 2009, Mark signed a new three-year contract.
From November to December 2009, Mark gained some first-team action, playing four games while on loan to East Fife and late last season started to feature on the bench.
At the start of the current season, Mark joined Airdrie United on loan until January 2011.
