A tall and commanding keeper who was recruited in August 2008 on a six-month loan from the Hungarian club, Debreceni VSC, where he had come through the youth system.
Janos then signed a permanent deal in January 2009 for £185,000. The big shot stopper helped DVSC to win the Cup in 2001 and he won another medal in 2005, while on loan to FC Sopron. DVSC also won the League in 2006-07, but to recover from injury, Janos spent the second half of that season on loan to Nyiregyhaza Spartacus.
He returned in July 2007 and in September, against Turkey, Janos earned his only International cap to date. This season, the big Hungarian has shared the Hearts' goalkeeping duties with Marian Kello.
