Debut: August 2008.
Jamie came through the Hearts Academy and signed a full professional contract in August 2003 after a spell on loan to Musselburgh Athletic Juniors.
He eventually made his competitive debut in August 2008 against Rangers but the agile keeper was already a regular in the Scotland U21 side due to his fine form on loan to Queen of the South from January 2007 until May 2008.
During that period, Jamie helped the Dumfries club to reach the Scottish Cup Final. The Broxburn-born keeper was Hearts' cover man on 2008-09 and he signed a new three-year deal towards the end of the campaign.
In December 2009, after playing a fine game as a substitute against Hamilton, Jamie suffered an ankle ligament injury that kept him out for three months but Jim Jefferies gave him an opportunity in March and Jamie ended last season as Hearts' No. 1. Marian Kello's fine form this season has seen him struggle to reclaim the gloves.
