A strong and industrious striker, Gordon was once on Hibs' books but was signed in July 2009 from Livingston, where he made eight first-team appearances.
He also earned 13 caps for the Scottish U17 side and since joining Hearts, Gordon has stepped up to the national U19 team. The young attacker earned early promotion and made his competitive debut for Hearts in August 2009 in the Europa League match against Dinamo Zagreb at Tynecastle.
Gordon held his place in the squad and went on to make 12 appearances. His first goal for Hearts was a brilliant effort in the 1-1 draw against Hibs on 3 January 2010.
He agreed to joing Stirling Albion on loan at the start of season 2010-11 to obtain competitive match action.
Gordon enjoyed a successful spell with the Binos, and is currently on loan at Hamilton to maintain match sharpness before returning to Hearts in January.
