A quick and athletic wing-back, David was recruited in July 2008 from the South African club Kaizer Chiefs. The skillful wide-man, who has made nearly 25 appearances for Uganda, also has good experience having played in his homeland for Police FC, SC Vila and Express Red Eagles FC. In addition, David has appeared in Mauritius with AS Port Louis and while at college in the USA he played for Raleigh and Wilmington Hammerheads. In 2005, David made the big time with Kaizer Chiefs and after winning the Championship he was voted South African Player of the Year in 2006-07. In February 2010, new manager Jim Jefferies successfully deployed David at centre-forward with the player using his height to good effect.
