The 17-year-old, who is enjoying his maiden season in the Hearts first team, has put pen to paper to ensure he stays at Tynecastle for the next three years.

Callum, who has been deployed at both right back and right wing by John McGlynn, has made six outings this term, including two accomplished performances against Liverpool in the Europa League.

Meanwhile, more good news came this evening after Ryan McGowan opted to remain at Hearts despite strong interest from Rangers.
