Adrian after cup glory
Adrian Mrowiec has assured Hearts fans that he'll do everything he can to help bring the Scottish Cup back to Gorgie, if selected in what would be his final game for the Jambos.
Speaking to HeartsTV whilst promoting the club's Cup Final buttonholes, made by Bloemen Ecke in Murrayfield Place, with daughter Victoria, the midfielder said: "It would be my last game for Hearts so I'd do my best.
"Before I got injured I played all the games. But now I don't know, after 7 weeks injured, if I'll play on Saturday. I played the last game and I feel ok, there are no problems with my knee and I can run.
"I know that if I get the chance then I'll do everything possible to do my best in the Cup Final.
"We've a very good record against Hibs, and we try to keep it going. We've won all the League games but this is a one-off cup game so you never know, but of course we'll try and keep the record intact."
The Polish ball-winner was disappointed with the defeat to Celtic in the final SPL match of the season, but insists the club are on course to achieve its targets.
He said: "It was very sad to lose 5-0 to Celtic, but Paulo Sergio said that we must forget that game and focus on this Saturday.
"But it's very good for the club that we've qualified for the Europa League next season. It was our target and we've got it, now we focus on the Cup Final.
"It's the biggest game I've been involved with in my last three years here. It's my last game and I hope everyone will be very happy after it!"
The Cup Final will be Adrian's swansong at Hearts, as he moves on to pastures new at the end of the season, though he has not yet made any decision about where he will continue his career.
He continued: "The future is first of all the Cup game. Then I'll travel back to Poland and take it from there. I'm looking for something but at the moment I don't know where I'll play next season."
