Coach Gary Locke is hoping Hearts can progress to the quarter-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup at the second time of asking tomorrow evening.

The Jambos take on St Johnstone in Perth following the 1-1 draw at Tynecastle earlier this month, with the victors at home to St Mirren or Ross County in the last eight.

And while frustrated at not making the most of their home advantage, Gary is confident the team has what it takes to come out on top at McDiarmid Park.

"For a club our size, it's not unrealistic to want to win something every season," he said at today's pre-match press conference.

"The cup is our best chance this season so I'm hoping the result can go for us tomorrow night. This is a huge game for us.

"If we can get through it's a good chance to progress but there are a lot of good teams left in the competition.

"The cup is a chance to win something. So we have to try to make sure we get a run as it would also be good financially for the club. We're all looking forward to it as we were disappointed not to finish off the first game at home

"I thought St Johnstone showed a lot of character in the first game and this replay is going to be a very tough one for us. They have done well this season and have a manager who has done a great job since taking over but hopefully we can go up there and do a job."

Ian Black is banned for the replay, having picked up his second booking of the tournament in the Tynecastle tie, although boss Paulo Sergio is keeping his fingers crossed that David Templeton will be available after missing Saturday's draw at Kilmarnock in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
