Match preview: Hearts v St. Johnstone
Hearts welcome St. Johnstone to Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup tie for a second successive year.
The Saints triumphed in the fourth round last year, when a late Peter MacDonald goal was enough to see the Perth club through.
The Jambos enjoyed a better outcome in the fourth round this year, defeating Junior outfit Auchinleck Talbot 1-0 at Tynecastle, Gordon Smith netting late on.
Steve Lomas' side over came second division Brechin City to book their place in the fifth round thanks to goals from Murray Davidson and Francisco Sandaza.
Prior to defeat against Inverness, Hearts had been on a run of good form. The loss in the highlands was their first in seven league matches.
The Saints have won three of their last five in all competitions, including victory over Brechin in the last round.
Spaniard Fran Sandaza leads the scoring charts at McDiarmid Park with 15 goals in all competitions.
Rudi Skacel, fresh from signing an extended deal, remains leading marksman for the Jambos with nine in all competitions.
