Rudi staying on!
Fans favourite Rudi Skacel has penned an extension to his current Hearts deal until the end of the season.
In his second spell at Tynecastle, Rudi's contract was set to run out this evening but negotiations over an extension were successfully completed today, meaning the 32-year-old will remain a Jambo until the summer.
The Czech playmaker is the club's top scorer this term, blasting nine goals from midfield.
He kicked off 2012 in sensational fashion, netting a glorious strike in the derby win over Hibs at Easter Road on January 2 and his recent hat-trick against St Mirren inspired 10-man Hearts to a stunning 5-2 victory in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Rudi's extended stay in the Capital comes on the back of more good news for boss Paulo Sergio, with goalkeepers Jamie MacDonald and Mark Ridgers having signed two-year extensions to their contracts - revealed first on Hearts News.
