Match Preview: Hearts v Inverness CT
Hearts take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Tynecastle this weekend looking to halt a run of four matches without a win.
The Jambos have failed to find the net since the 15th of October, despite coming close over the past few weeks.
The Highlanders have only won once in their last five Clydesdale Bank Premier League matches; although victory came in the form of an impressive 6-3 away win at Kilmarnock.
Terry Butcher will have midfielder Greg Tansey available after the appeal of his red card against Celtic was successful.
The Jambos will once again be without Ian Black, who serves the final match of a three game ban after being sent off against Kilmarnock.
The last three meetings between the sides have finished in a 1-1 draw. September's clash at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium saw Gregory Tade give the hosts the lead, before Stephen Elliott restored parity with ten minutes remaining.
In the corresponding fixture last year, Adam Rooney gave Inverness the lead, before Kevin Kyle's penalty drew Hearts level in a match they were unfortunate not to go on and win.
Of the 20 league meetings between the two, Hearts have come out on top in half of those, with seven draws and just three Caley victories.
For their last win over the Gorgie club, you have to go back to 22nd December 2007, when the Caley Jags ran out 3-2 winners. Striker Graham Bayne beat stand-in goalkeeper Lee Wallace in stoppage time, after Eduardis Kurskis was sent off.
Hearts have won six of the nine meetings with Inverness since then.
