Tynecastle looks set to attract a huge crowd next week for the second leg of Hearts' Europa League third round clash with Paks SE.

Jim Jefferies' side returned to Edinburgh in the early hours of the morning in buoyant mood after securing a 1-1 draw in Hungary last night, Jamie Hamill's penalty on the stroke of half-time putting the Jambos in the driving seat ahead of the game on Thursday, August 4.

Supporters have wasted little time in making sure they don't miss the big game as Hearts go gunning for the play-offs, with more than 1000 tickets being snapped up since the final whistle in the Sostoi Stadium.

"With the tie finely balanced, I think there is going to be a big crowd at Tynecastle," said JJ.

"The atmosphere will be great and Paks will certainly find it a lot different to last night.

"The fans make European nights at Tynecastle very special and next Thursday will be no different."

Extra staff are being employed tomorrow in order to meet supporter demand for tickets and fans are being urged not to leave buying tickets any later than necessary.

A club spokesperson said: "Demand has been phenomenal and we are now making arrangements to employ more staff over the weekend. We expect Tynecastle to be close to capacity when the teams meet again on Thursday evening and the fans will have a big part to play in backing the team after a great away result.

"Last night's result was an excellent reward against the Hungarian league runners-up and Jamie Hamill's goal was just reward for the effort the players showed. It is clear, given the buzz around the club, that the supporters are also backing the team in large numbers as we try to get through to the lucrative play-off round.

"Supporters should also remember, though, that they don't need to buy tickets in person at our Ticket Centre. The simplest way is to buy tickets is online (24 hours a day) at www.heartsfc.co.uk and they can pay for and print off their own ticket at home or in their workplace."

Tickets are also available from the Ticket Centre on 0871 663 1874, option 1 (tomorrow 10am-2pm, Sunday 10am-3pm).
