Hearts today launched a new home strip for next season, with the more traditional look expected to be a big hit with supporters.

Going back to the days of deep maroon, the new top features a round-neck collar. With white shorts and maroon socks, the new kit reflects the opinions of the majority of fans whose preference was a return to the days of the 1996 League Cup Final shirt which proved so popular with the Gorgie faithful.

Pre-orders are being taken now at the Superstore at Tynecastle or the St James Centre, as well as online at www.heartsdirect.co.uk. The strip goes on sale from 23rd June.

Special discounts are available to season ticket holders if they purchase the strip before July 9th, and these include:

£20 off an adult full replica home strip (shirt, short and socks)
£10 off adult home shirt
£15 off kids full replica home strip (shirt, short and socks)
£7.50 off kid's home replica shirt
£7.50 off infant's mini strip

Season ticket discounts are only available in stores and supporters must produce their season ticket when making a purchase.
