Community Coach Paul Greig recently handed over a framed souvenir to Baguette Express franchisee Kevin Sangster as thanks for supporting the Education and Community Trust's Matchday Experience.

The Baguette Express Matchday Experience has provided over 500 children with the opportunity to train at the Hearts Football Academy and perform in front of thousand of Hearts supporters during half time slots at Tynecastle.

The pair met at Tynecastle for the handover were Kevin stated, "The sponsorship has been a great success this season. We have had several people come in and mention they had seen and heard about the partnership at Tynecastle during the matches. We are proud to be associated with such a fantastic initiative that Paul and Hearts have put together and this will continue into next season."

Community coach Paul Greig added, "We are extremely grateful to Kevin and his team at Baguette Express Gorgie and The Gyle for their support.

"The feedback we receive from clubs regarding the initiative has been fantastic and this would not be the case if it wasn't for the help of Baguette Express. Our programme has grown year after year into what has proved to be a very successful programme for the club. Local teams can now experience training at our state of the art Academy, a Show Racism the Red Card workshop, Baguette Express Lunch and exclusive match day experience souvenir poster as part of their day with Hearts"

This season, £3,000 has been raised by local clubs at the Baguette Express Match Day Experience as part of the club's Cash for Clubs scheme. The scheme works whereby the local club sells tickets to friends and family to come and see their youngsters play at Tynecastle in front of a packed crowd. The more tickets the club sells the more money they get in return.

We provide every club with 40% cashback to help them either fundraise or provide additional cash to assist in running costs, training equipment, strips or facility hire during the course of their season.
