An emotional Marian Kello was last night named Hearts' Player of the Season.

The Slovakian international was the runaway winner of the players' vote and on a night of triumph for the Tynecastle No.1, he also picked up Save of the Season and Fans' Player of the Season awards.

"I had a tear in my eye when I went up on the stage at the end to collect the Player of the Season award," he said.

"This means so much."

Kevin Kyle's late winner against Hibs on New Year's Day was voted Most Memorable Moment, while David Templeton's stunning effort against the Easter Road side in November was the popular choice for Goal of the Season.

The hat-trick of awards caps a memorable couple of weeks for Marian, who was named the Shareholders' Association's Player of the Year, while also picking up the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Save of the Season.
