Three young Hearts stars currently out on loan have had their deals extended until the end of the season.

Goalkeeper Mark Ridgers (Airdrie United), Jonathan Brown (Stirling Albion) and Gordon Smith (Stirling Albion) have all agreed to continue in the lower leagues to gain valuable first-team experience.

Meanwhile, striker Jamie Mole has returned to the club following his loan agreement with first division promotion hopefuls Raith Rovers.
