Fringe player Paul Mulrooney has joined Brechin City on an emergency one-month loan.

The Hearts youngster caught the eye last season when he produced an impressive performance on his first start for the Edinburgh club against Dundee United at Tannadice.

However, he has yet to feature for Jim Jefferies this season and has joined Jim Weir's Irn Bru 2nd Division leaders to gain some much-needed competitive action.
