Ticket sales and access update
Following issues affecting the entrance of some supporters to the stadium this afternoon, Hearts can confirm that matchday ticket sales have been suspended, with the exception of the next home game against Elgin City (24th August, 7.45pm).
The club is in discussions with ticketing services partner Ticketmaster in order to resolve an issue that led to some supporters being refused access to the stadium through their season cards.
A further statement will be made on Monday (16th August).
In the meantime, supporters affected today should email supporterservices@homplc.co.uk with any specific problem they may have had at the game today against St Johnstone. Ticket Centre staff will then be in a position to update supporters directly throughout next week.
Supporters should leave details of your name, address, contact number (day and evening), and season card details (ie. seat no, section, stand and barcode).
One major point for certain season card holders to note is that a number of old season smartcards (last season's) were being used wrongly. There are a number of supporters who have recieved new cards.
Supporters should be using their new smartcard if you have:
Supporters should also note that:
A club spokesperson said: "We are sorry for those supporters that experienced difficulty entering Tynecastle today.
"As soon as we became aware there was an issue we provided tickets to the affected supporters.
"We are now working with Ticketmaster to resolve the matter as quickly as possible and to ensure the problems some people faced today are not repeated."
