Hearts today announced that pre-orders for the club's dramatic new Umbro home kit are up an astonishing 200% on last season.

It's a kit that has divided opinion and gained more media exposure than any previous design in the Tynecastle side's history.

Retail partners SRM, who now control all of the club's franchises, reported the update earlier today.

As well as the revolutionary design, inspired by Hearts' kit of the 1970s, this year's pre-order campaign includes several fantastic value deals.

All season ticket holders will receive £10 off the new home shirt (£10 off the away shirt for Platinum Zone season tickets, who also receive a FREE home shirt).

Season ticket holders can alternatively pre-order a home shirt and get an away shirt for half price.

Non-season ticket holders get 25% off the away shirt when they pre-order the home shirt.

"We are absolutely delighted with how pre-orders are shaping up," SRM director Richard Alexander said today. "Comparing year-on-year we're flying this time around.

"This may be a kit which has divided opinion, and sparked fierce debate, but there's no question that the key group who like to buy replica kit are doing so in numbers we've not experienced in quite some time which we're really pleased about.

"The offers are clearly helping, too, as we attempt to offer the best possible value to our supporters."

The deadline for pre-ordering the dramatic new Umbro home kit - which is available exclusively from Hearts - is Monday 9th August at 5pm.
