The Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust today calls for supporters help - urgently!

Are you available this Friday night to be at Tynecastle from 6pm?

North British Distillery has very kindly offered the use of the pitch just behind the Wheatfield Stand for the Trust.

This will be a huge benefit as the Trust aims to offer local children and community groups the chance use the pitch for daytime and weekend football coaching.

As our picture shows, the grass is overgrown and the Trust requires some serious help to chop it down, bag it and mow it to a great finish.

Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust Head of Corporate Responsibility Tam Hendry said: "We know we can get this job done if we have the tremendous backing of our supporters. It's a job that we can blitz in an evening if everyone mucks in."

Supporters who are free on Friday night are asked to report to the club's Ticket Centre on McLeod Street and ask for Tam upon arrival. Everyone is very welcome.
