Mark Ridgers today put pen to paper on a loan move to Airdrie United.

The 19-year-old is joining the Irn-Bru Second Division club until January where he'll gain valuable first team experience.

The Dingwall-born goalkeeper is highly rated by boss Jim Jefferies, but has yet to make a first team start for Hearts, although he's featured several times on the bench.

Hearts is continuing to work on a number of options for younger or fringe players to go out play regularly with more announcements expected in the weeks ahead.
