Manager to consider captain options
Jim Jefferies today told Hearts.TV that he's considering options for the club's captaincy next season following the departure of Michael Stewart.
Marius Zaliukas assumed the captain's armband in Michael's absence before the end of the season having been vice skipper, and he'll be a contender.
The Tynecastle boss said: "We have an idea of the options to consider.
"Marius is out of contract at the end of December, I believe, so that might have a bearing on it.
"There are a couple of other players who have caught our eye.
"We'll look at that at the start [of pre-season] and that's something we'll look at in terms of attitude and who we think might have a chance."
