A dance group whose first ever performance provided pre-match entertainment before the Dundee United game at the start of this month, have been crowned the best in Scotland.

UNIK Dance Crew clearly looked a special talent as they wowed the fans at Tynecastle and they have underlined their class with victory in the Festival 4 Starz U18s Open Scottish Street Dance Championships.

The Crew came up against some of the country's top performers in the Renfrewshire event but held their nerve to scoop first prize, the victory taking them through to the World Street Dance Championships in August in Blackpool, and also the European Championships in April 2011 in Disneyland Paris.
