"We were looking for a game before the Millwall match and this fits in nicely," said Jim.

"We play Gillingham on the Thursday and then have the game on the Saturday and we'll come back up after that one."

Ticket information will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the U19s' pre-season plans are also taking shape, with the first fixtures now confirmed.

Darren Murray's side will play in the Oban Tournament on Saturday, July 10 and travel to East Fife on Saturday July 17 (3pm). Edinburgh University provide the opposition on Saturday, July 24 at Peffermill, kick-off 2pm.

As with all the U19 pre-season friendlies, these are subject to change at short notice.
