HNT: Robbo back for the day
Jim Jefferies today welcomed Hearts legend John Robertson back to Tynecastle - for one day only!
The record league goal-scorer was due to take a training session with club forwards Christian Nade, Calum Elliot, Gary Glen, Scott Robinson, Gordon Smith and David Witteveen.
It's a role that JJ has used to good effect in his previous role at Kilmarnock, whilst former Dundee United manager Craig Levein used Robbo's services at Tannadice in the Autumn.
"John Robertson has come to take some of the strikers," the Gorgie boss said this morning at his pre-match news conference.
"He's not being employed by the club. He's done it as a favour and did it for me at Kilmarnock. He was down last night for an event at Tynecastle, so it is an odd occasion and he's popping in."
And there was more good news from the Tynecastle manager, as he revealed that in addition to Eggert Jonsson and Larry Kingston's availability after suspension, he may have Scott Robinson and Dawid Kucharski after injury provided by both come through training over the next day or so. Goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald is also back in training.
Craig Thomson, Ian Black, Michael Stewart, Ruben Palazuelos, Andrew Driver, Marius Zaliukas, and Ismael Bouzid are out of the weekend trip to Fir Park.
The Algerian is set to see a specialist about his hamstring injury with a report to follow in the days ahead.
