Heart of Midlothian Women's Football Club kicks off a new season this weekend and head coach Tam Milne is hoping for a winning start.

It's the first time the U13s and U15s have come under the club banner and they are due to begin their campaigns tomorrow, with the U17s following suit 24 hours later.

Tam can't wait for the action to start and said: "All the girls are looking forward to the new season. They are very excited about the games coming up and the challenges which lie ahead.

"We are looking to improve on last season and they're ready to give it their all."

Hearts No. 1 Marian Kello popped down to Tynecastle this afternoon to wish the respective captains the best of luck.

"Hopefully they all have a good season," said the Slovakian star, who is recovering from a broken wrist at the moment.

All three age groups are on the look out for new players. Anyone interested in joining can contact Margaret Milne on 07801 152 725 or email homwfc-contact@yahoo.co.uk.
