Hearts boss Jim Jefferies today spoke of his disapppointment at hearing that the appeal over Larry Kingston's red card against Aberdeen had been thrown out by the Scottish FA.

The midfielder was dismissed by Willie Collum after a challenge on Fraser Fyvie early in the second half at Pittodrie on Saturday, although most observers thought the Ghana international had been very unfortunate.

Speaking to Hearts.TV this afternoon just moments after being told the news that the official was "content" with his decision having reviewed the incident, JJ said: "We're disappointed as we didn't feel there was any malice in the challenge at all."

Larry will now be suspended for the Jambos' trip to face Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday.
