Eggert's positional promise
Eggert Jonsson last night reiterated he is happy to play anywhere for Hearts as long as they keep securing victories.
The Icelandic's preferred position is central midfield however with injuries hitting the side hard the 21-year-old is happy to play for the shirt.
That's what he did on Saturday, reverting from midfield after Dawid Kucharskis' groin injury to central defence, where he ended up marshalling a sterling defensive operation - and of course scoring that stunning winning goal!
"The most important thing is the team," he declared. "I'll play wherever the manager wants me to and I'll do my best.
"I'm glad I can play in these other positions and it gives me more experience."
Saturday's result means the Jambos have recorded three wins on the trot, however for Eggert that's in the past and the games coming up are going to be a huge challenge for the Gorgie men.
"It's great we've won three games in a row but we've got three really hard matches coming up," he stressed.
"If we can get results from those fixtures then anything is possible, you never know what is going to happen.
"We could have the chance to get ourselves further up the table.
"We have shown we can do something but we need to keep working hard, get consistency and get results, but we do this by taking it one game at a time."
