Former player and Scottish Cup winner with Hearts Paul Ritchie was back at Riccarton recently delivering coaching sessions as part of the Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust's Club Development Programme.

The centre back was hosting a special Team Camp during the school half term break to a squad from Livingston Hearts U13s

Paul was following in the footsteps of other former players including Gary Locke, John Robertson and Henry Smith who have offered their services to work with young players at grassroots level through the Trust.

Hearts community development manager Alan White commented: "Having so many former players coming back to the club to give their time and to pass on their experience to local teams and players is absolutley fantastic.

"Paul has been a terrifc addition to the coaching staff in our Team Camp initiative and I know having spoken to some of the young players they worked at a fast pace but also to a high standard.

"We would like to thank the players and coaching staff at Livingston Hearts for signing up to the programme and hope they have benefited and enjoyed the sessions."
