A clean slate - JJ
Jim Jefferies today revealed that it was he who chose to scrap fines issued to three Hearts players following the game against Hamilton in December.
Ian Black, Suso Santana and Eggert Jonsson were punished for events following full-time at New Douglas Park.
All three were entitled to appeal the decision, which they chose to do through the player's union PFA Scotland.
However, before any appeal was heard the new Tynecastle manager decided, with support from the club and PFA Scotland, to abandon the process in the spirit of a fresh start for everyone following his appointment.
Jim said: "I came in to the club in the middle of the situation, and decided with support from the club that we should draw a line under what happened and start a fresh.
"While it's a clean slate for everyone, I've told the players that anything in the future will of course be dealt with."
