New arrivals Billy Brown and Gary Locke today spoke of their delight at joining manager Jim Jefferies at Hearts.

Jim has appointed Billy as his No. 2 at Tynecastle, while former skipper Gary joins as first-team coach.

The pair put pen to paper on their contracts this afternoon and minutes later spoke to Hearts News.

"I am really happy to be here and looking forward to the challenge," said Billy.

"I am delighted to be back at the club where we had so much success in the past and hope to bring back more success this time."

Ex-captain Gary added: "I am absolutely delighted to be back. It was my ambition to play for Hearts as a kid and when I moved into coach it was always an ambition to be a coach at Tynecastle. It has just happened a bit quicker than I ever expected.

"I can't wait for the game tomorrow and hopefully we can start turning the results around."

On Hearts.TV today, Jim looks ahead to Falkirk clash with Marian Kello at his pre-match press conference.
