Hearts youngster Ryan McGowan has extended his loan deal with Irn-Bru Scottish First Division outfit Ayr United until the end of the season.

The Aussie ace scored on his debut for the Somerset Park outfit and is enjoying the opportunity of regular competitive action.

Jonathan Brown has agreed a similar extension with Livingston in the Third Division, while Steven Husband, who had also been on loan at the West Lothian club from the start of the season, has returned to Hearts and will now push for a recall into the first-team set-up in the weeks ahead.
