Edinburgh Erskine Fayre this Saturday!
Supporters may be interested to learn that the annual Christmas Fayre at the Erskine Edinburgh Home kicks off this Saturday.
Expanded in size following the opening of the care home's £8.6million new building there will be a chance to buy all the usual festive treats and help to raise money for the Capital's veterans at the same time.
And with Hearts not in action until Sunday when Csaba Laszlo's side takes on Hamilton at New Douglas Park, supporters are encouraged to make a visit up to the Gilmerton Road site to lend their support.
Supporters can visit the fantastic new Erskine Edinburgh Home building and browse the service charity's Christmas stalls, plus enjoy some special boutique stalls which include Lynton Beads, Forever Living Products and many more.
There will also be home baking on sale, Erskine merchandise and a chance to enjoy a cup of tea and mince pie in the home's dedicated recreation room. Raffle tickets can also be purchased in advance from reception at the Erskine Edinburgh Home to be in with the chance of winning fantastic prizes.
Erskine's Edinburgh fundraiser John Fyfe said: "The expansion of our Edinburgh care home has allowed us to expand the size of our traditional Christmas Fayre.
"Our veterans and staff will welcome you from 2pm through until 5pm, so come around and have a look at our fantastic new building and help raise money for this worthwhile cause at the same time."
Entry costs £2 for adults and £1 for children. The Christmas Fayre runs from 2-5pm.
