HNT: Driver out of Saints clash
Csaba Laszlo today revealed that Andrew Driver is out of Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash against St Johnstone.
The wing-king has a patella (knee) injury which could keep him out of action for the next two or three weeks.
The England U21 international is one of a number of players who will miss out on the visit of the Saints.
Marius Zaliukas (ankle), Jamie Mole (ankle), and Suso Santana (hernia) are all out.
It was also revealed today that young left-back Mathew Park will be out of action for eight months after sustaining a very serious knee injury in a closed door game against Kilmarnock.
Meanwhile, Csaba was also questioned at his pre-match news conference this morning about the possibility of putting himself forward for the vacant Scotland national coach position.
Whilst refusing to throw his hat in the ring, he admitted that being a national coach is a huge honour, having served as Uganda's boss.
Before taking on the questions the Gorgie manager stressed his priorities remain to qualify for the top six and make it to the Co-operative Insurance Cup Final with victory over St Mirren in February's semi-final.
"I think only of St Johnstone," he said. "We have to do something here but if someone comes to the club and asks for permission to speak to me then ok we can discuss, definitely.
"To be in this country is an honour. I took the contract to be at this club and I am very happy that the owner gave me the chance to work for this country.
"I feel like this is my home. My wife likes Edinburgh more than Kampala, too. Now I think that it is indifferent what happens, I think I will stay here in Edinburgh, not in Budapest, especially for my children so they can finish school here."
