HNT: Ruben set to return
Hearts star Ruben Palazuelos is optimistic of being available for this weekend's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash against St Mirren after missing Saturday's victory over Hamilton through illness.
The Spaniard was sent home before the game having reported to Tynecastle suffering from a stomach bug and listened to the game via the Hearts website.
He told Hearts News Today the win over the Accies was a great pick-me-up and he revealed he's already feeling much more like himself.
"I didn't feel well at all on Saturday and there was little else I could do other than go home to rest," he said.
"I had my lap top with me in the house and listened to the game against Hamilton on Hearts.TV. I was also getting texts from friends and people at the game asking how I was and telling me what was happening, which was great.
"I am feeling much better now, although still a little bit tired. Hopefully I will have my full energy back in the next day or so.
"Obviously I was disappointed to miss the game but I think I will be okay for this weekend."
Boss Csaba Laszlo, meanwhile, reckons referee Alan Muir was spot-on in his decision to award Hearts a penalty after David Witteveen was sent sprawling by a clumsy challenge from Martin Canning.
The Accies defender claimed the Austrian took a dive to win the award but television pictures show the Austrian was fouled.
"From where I was standing it looked a penalty," said Csaba. "This is my opinion and was also the referee's opinion."
