Hearts hail successful Family Race Day 2009
Hearts this evening hailed yet another hugely successful Family Race Day at Musselburgh Racecourse following today's fourth annual event.
One of the UK's top days of harness racing provided the sporting entertainment as thousands of Hearts supporters and race goers alike enjoyed a day largely in the sunshine.

A first team squad of 23 players attended the event with all players appearing in the signing tent, whilst manager Csaba Lazslo and coaching trio Werner Burger, Tom Ritchie and Arturas Ramoska met supporters on an hour-long walk about.
This year's official Clydesdale Bank Premier League Mascot Race was again one by a Hearts representative, Teenie Tiger, following Tynie's triumph last year.

With football fun laid on by the Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust, a carousel and moonwalk bouncy castle, and face painting fun was had by all.
Hearts' official charity partner for 2009-10, Erskine, also attended the event allowing supporters to find out more about why Erskine is so important to Hearts - and buy official merchandise.

Commercial manager Ross Easton commented, "It has been another highly successful day, enjoyed not only by thousands of supporters, but by the players who know this is a vital and exciting part of our non-matchday calendar - and it seems one of two did very well with the bookies!
"The weather just about held well, and feedback we've received from supporters today was it was a fantastic afternoon out for the family.

"Such events are vital to the club not only in terms of commercial revenue, but in terms of giving such open access to players and coaching staff which is so important to a club like Hearts so we are delighted it has gone so well."
