Black loving life at Hearts
From Hearts News in Barsinghausen, Germany
Ian Black today revealed he's settled quickly into his new life at Hearts.
The former Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder signed a pre-contract with the Tynecastle club in January, but only joined his new team-mates last week.
But pre-season training has gone well for the new boy, who's delighted with how things are going so far.
"It has been great," Ian told Hearts.TV here in Barsinghausen. "I came in and I feel I have settled in really quickly.
"The boys have been great and made me feel really good. The training is good,"
Ian admitted that the Hearts dressing room is more international, but it's something he relishes. "It is different but it is good and good to mix with different players," he added.
"The players from different areas are really nice. Everyone is talking and I am really enjoying it.
"I just came in and expected everyone to be the way they have been.
"They are a good team and watching them last year they were all together I knew coming in it would be the same and it has been."
Hearts players took part in a recovery session this morning after last night's game. The team is resting this afternoon before heading in to Hanover for tonight's game.
Eggert Jonsson is set to miss out with a minor hamstring injury, as are Christian Nade, Laryea Kingston and Marius Zaliukas who are all working back to fitness.
