Hearts have signed their third player of the close season with the arrival of Polish defender Dawid Kucharski.

The 24-year-old, six foot two inch defender signs from Polish top tier side Lech Poznan who finished third last season in the Ekstraklasa and also won the Polish Cup.

Dawid made his debut at the age of 17 in the Polish top division in 2002 when he joined Amica Wronki and moved to Lech Poznan in 2006. He has scored three goals in his career.

Dawid's arrival is the third summer signing for Hearts with midfielders Ian Black and Suso Santana already signed up at Tynecastle.
