Robbie's desire was key
Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson today admitted it was Robbie Neilson's desire to play for the Foxes which helped persuade him to sign the Hearts captain.
As the long-serving full-back confirmed to Hearts News earlier today, he will sign for the Coca-Cola Championship side when his Tynecastle contract runs out in a matter of days.
Pearson was delighted to land the 28-year-old and said today: "We are continuing our policy of only signing players who genuinely want to play for Leicester City Football Club and Robbie certainly fits that criteria.
"We are absolutely delighted to have secured Robbie for the football club. He will bring quality, experience and a winning mentality, all of which we have no doubt will enhance our squad for the season ahead.
"On meeting with Robbie, his leadership qualities were obvious."
On Hearts.TV today, Robbie talks exclusively about his move to Leicester City.
