Bruno Aguiar today revealed that he did not pay any attention to the supporters' chants for Calum Elliot to take Saturday's penalty kick against Kilmarnock.

The Portuguese midfielder stepped up and smacked his effort off the right post denying Hearts the opportunity to go into a 4-1 lead.

Despite that, Bruno admitted to Hearts.TV that he would be happy to take a penalty kick again.

Of course, Bruno had already hit the back of the net with his early second half strike to put Tynecastle is buoyant mood.

"I was very happy to take this goal," he said. "My wife is pregnant and I dedicate this goal for my wife and son.

"I tried to score another one but I was unlucky with the penalty but we won which was the most important thing.

So what about the chants of 'We want Calum'? "I don't listen to this," Bruno grinned. "The gaffer said before the game that me and David Obua would take them and this was my chance. I was just unlucky.

"I don't look for the keeper. I just tried to put the ball in there but it went on the post."

Now Bruno is looking forward to Hearts next challenge - the race for Europe!

"I am very happy," he continued. "We got the win and we are now in the top six. Now we must think about the next step. In my view it was to be third position.

"The first objective was the top six and now it is ok and now we must think game by game and take the three points and then we can look in the table."
